New for 2012 - FREE Transit in the Park
The Pocono Pony is gearing up for a new season of Transit in the Park. Get ready to ride, bike, hike and splash your way down the Delaware River! The service will start Memorial Day weekend, May 26, 2012, including Memorial Day Monday through Labor Day weekend, September 3, 2012 including Labor Day Monday.
Six interstate highways, I-80, I-81, I-84, I-78, I-380 and I-476, make the Pocono Mountains region quick and easy to reach. Taking the bus? Greyhound and Martz Trailways have direct line services to the Pocono Mountains. How about a ride? Pocono Limousine will pick you up.
A frequent visitor to the Pocono region? The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has information available on purchasing the E-ZPass. You'll also want to stay up-to-date on the Marshalls Creek Bypass (Routes 209 and 402) in Monroe County.

The Sculpted Ice Works Factory Tour and Natural Ice Harvesting Museum will be opening this Memorial Day weekend. Each year Sculpted Ice Works manufactures over 12,000 crystal clear ice carving blocks in their plant, and transforms them into brilliant ice sculptures of all sizes. The museum will showcase methods of ice harvesting, ice harvesting tools, uses of ice before refrigeration, and how ice was delivered. The tour of modern ice manufacturing will demonstrate how ice sculptures are made from start to finish. Summer hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10am-5pm, Sundays from 11am-4pm. More
Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm's "Farm Animal Frolic" is family fun at its best. Come to Quiet Valley and enjoy baby farm animals, wagon rides, games, children shows, sheep shearing (May 26), wildlife program (May 19), outdoor bake oven, and more. Admission for the event is $8/adults, $5/children (ages 3-12). The event will be held from 10am-4pm on Saturday and noon-4pm on Sunday, rain or shine. No smoking or pets. More
