No matter where you enter the Northeast region of the United States, the Pocono Mountains is never far. With such close proximity to major metropolitan areas such as New York City and Philadelphia, the Pocono Mountains is easily accessible from any destination. Who knew serenity was so close?
Six interstate highways, I-80, I-81, I-84, I-78, I-380 and I-476, make the Pocono Mountains region quick and easy to reach. Taking the bus? Greyhound and Martz Trailways have direct line services to the Pocono Mountains. How about a ride? Pocono Limousine will pick you up.
A frequent visitor to the Pocono region? The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has information available on purchasing the E-ZPass. You'll also want to stay up-to-date on the Marshalls Creek Bypass (Routes 209 and 402) in Monroe County.

Cure your cabin fever on a safari adventure. Come check out the amazing ice displays, such as elephants and giraffes, all sculpted from over 100 tons of ice. There will also be ongoing live ice caring shows and professional ice competitions on February 11-12 and 25-26. Guests can enjoy free hot chocolate and wine tasting with admission. Tickets are $10/adults, $6/children ages 3-15, and children under 3 are free. The festival will be held from 11am-6pm, Monday-Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday. More
There will be amazing three dimensional ice sculptures displayed throughout Downtown Stroudsburg in front of many of the great stores on Main Street. Be sure to watch the live ice carving demonstration right on Main Street. Watch the ice flying as a creation is made right in front of you. In celebration of this winter event, many of the Downtown stores will be having specials and sales. The festivities will begin at noon. More
