About the Pocono Mountains
The Pocono Mountains experiences four distinct seasons - white winters, crisp springs, balmy summers and colorful autumns - with a unique climate and corresponding outdoor activities for each.
The average annual snowfall is about 50" and the hottest day rarely exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest month of the year is July, while winter hits its peak in January.

Join Ready Set Run for the River Ramble. The ramble will feature a 5k and 10k road race along River Road, a 2-mile fun trail walk along the McDade Trail, and a nature walk for the children with a park ranger. The River Ramble will start at the Smithfield Beach Recreation Area. Prizes and festivities will be held after the race. More
