About the Pocono Mountains
The Pocono Mountains experiences four distinct seasons - white winters, crisp springs, balmy summers and colorful autumns - with a unique climate and corresponding outdoor activities for each.
The average annual snowfall is about 50" and the hottest day rarely exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest month of the year is July, while winter hits its peak in January.

The Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival is open every day from 11am-6pm. $10 wristband provides you with unlimited hay rides, 3D Adventure, enchanted garden and woods, pirate play ship, and bounce houses. Also enjoy pumpkin chucking, paintball, food, produce market, Fall and Halloween decorations, and more. On weekends the festival comes alive with entertainment, midway amusement rides, games, and much more. More
There truly is something for the entire family during these fall foliage weekends. Train rides, vendors, crafters, goodies from the Jim Thorpe Farmers Market, bike rentals and rides in the surrounding hills or along the Lehigh River on the rail-trail, free entertainment at different venues throughout the downtown, and seasonal specials from restaurants and shops.
