About the Pocono Mountains
The Pocono Mountains experiences four distinct seasons - white winters, crisp springs, balmy summers and colorful autumns - with a unique climate and corresponding outdoor activities for each.
The average annual snowfall is about 50" and the hottest day rarely exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest month of the year is July, while winter hits its peak in January.

During the Festival of Lights, the Phifer Ice dam Park takes on a magical holiday glow with more than 400,000 lights in a giant outdoor walk-through display as the sounds of the season are heard throughout the park. Santa will appear at the festival nightly up until Christmas. This event will also take place on December 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Weather permitting. More
