The Pocono Mountains experiences four distinct seasons - white winters, crisp springs, balmy summers and colorful autumns - with a unique climate and corresponding outdoor activities for each.

The average annual snowfall is about 50" and the hottest day rarely exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest month of the year is July, while winter hits its peak in January.

Franklin Festival of Lights

During the Festival of Lights, the Phifer Ice dam Park takes on a magical holiday glow with more than 400,000 lights in a giant outdoor walk-through display as the sounds of the season are heard throughout the park. Magical Fireside Christmas

Join The Inn at Pocono Manors holiday tradition with a visit to the Pocono Mountains magical winter wonderland. Immerse yourself in the twinkling sights, sounds, and aromas of the season. Let the magic and spirit on the mountain warm your heart all season long. Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, hot cocoa with melting marshmallows and peppermint sticks, Christmas carols, storytellers, and so much more. Donations for Toys for Tots will be accepted. Please bring an unwrapped gift. The Magical Fireside Christmas will take every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until December 20. From December 21 to 30 the Magical Fireside Christmas will take place daily from 11am-8pm. More
