Highlights: Beltzville State Park features 15 miles of scenic hiking trails that vary in distance and difficulty. The trails follow wooded paths, old roads, and mowed walkways through forests, creek valleys, fields, and by the lake. The trails vary in length.

Highlights: There are no established trails or blazes. Explore one of the overgrown woods roads. This conserved forest gives hundreds of nearby residents easy access to the outdoor life.

Highlights: This beautiful 78-acre preserve is owned and maintained by the Northeast Pennsylvania Audubon Society. There are two new parking areas and a wheelchair-accessible observation deck that overlooks a large pond where waterfowl and beaver can be seen.

Highlights: It's only a short distance to view the Main Falls ​from the primary observation deck. Three additional hiking trails provide numerous viewing angles of all eight waterfalls.

Highlights: The 70,000-acre park is laced with hiking trails of varying distance and difficulty. Some, like the McDade Recreational Trail, are packed gravel with easy segments, while others, like the Milford Knob Trail, are challenging with big rewards.

Highlights: ForEvergreen Nature Preserves one-mile loop trail is smooth gravel with very slight inclines. Mowed, grassy trails crisscross the central meadow.

Highlights: Hickory Run Sate Park encompasses 44 miles of scenic hiking trails. Trails range in distance and terrain, leading through areas rich in historic and visual interest. Thick foliage, waterfalls, rocky areas and streams punctuate the pathways.

Highlights: The trail is center around Ice Lake, which was originally built for ice making. Like general stores throughout the Poconos, the nearby Seguine store made ice for its own use and for sale to local customers.

Highlights: Irving Cliff is a one mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Honesdale, Pennsylvania. The trail is used for hiking and trail running. Enjoy the beautiful wild flowers and views of the Lackawaxen River along your hike.

Highlights: The Kettle Creek Wildlife Sanctuary itself is a 166 acre preserve. Over 2 1/2 miles of maintained and well marked trails are open for public use year-round, 7 days a week. The trail system at Kettle Creek is relatively easy to follow with the aid of a map or simply by following the signs.

Highlights: The Kidder Hike & Bike Trail runs along Lake Harmony Road from Big Boulder Drive to downtown Lake Harmony, providing a safe and scenic way to travel to the shopping area. Highlights: The Lehigh Gap Wildlife Refuge consists of over 750 acres of varied habitat. The trail system threads through these habitats and provides visitors with approximately 13 miles of hiking trails at present.

Highlights: The Levee Loop trail runs along the Brodhead Creek between Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg. This pet and bike-friendly path has some grass, gravel, and unestablished sections.
