75th Anniversary

Established in 1934, the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau (PMVB) is celebrating its 75th Anniversary during 2009. We are using this monumental occasion as a way to generate unique public relations opportunities and as a mechanism to encourage past visitors to the Pocono Mountains to return during this special year. Specific communications efforts have been developed to reach those two distinct groups.

Family Album: You are encouraged to tell your story and share images of Pocono Mountains' vacations and adventures through the decades! Images should capture unique "firsts" that took place during a trip to the region, ensuring that every special moment during a Pocono Mountains experience, be it a first fish caught, first kiss or first adventure skiing or whitewater rafting, be proudly displayed. 

Send your friends and family a cyber invitation to enjoy your approved image. After looking at your adventure, they can upload their photo and story to become a part of the Pocono Mountains Family Album too! Images should contain people and a recognizable feature, overlook or sign that ties the image to the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.
