    POCONO MOUNTAINS VISITORS BUREAU CELEBRATES 75TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2009

POCONO MOUNTAINS, PA, January 14, 2009 – The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) is celebrating its 75^th Anniversary in 2009 with special events and promotions.  The Visitors Bureau's 75^th Anniversary speaks to the region's long history of providing a nearby escape, only a short drive from most major cities in the Northeast, dating back to when returning soldiers would escape to the Pocono Mountains for some much deserved rest and relaxation.  

Valentine's Day Weekend Packages 

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort – "Love Letters Package"
The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, located on the edge of the Delaware River, offers the "Love Letters" package including overnight accommodations, breakfast at the River Room restaurant on Saturday and Monday morning, special breakfast-in-bed on Sunday morning, bottle of champagne, dinner on Saturday night in the River Room restaurant, Saturday tickets to see the Shawnee Playhouse's production of A.R.
