PMVB ANNOUNCES MORNING PRESENTER
 ON "GREEN LIVING" FOR POCONO MOUNTAINS TOURISM DAY

POCONO MOUNTAINS, PA, April 29, 2009 – The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) is pleased to announce Lisa Alexander as a morning presenter for Pocono Mountains Tourism Day. Ms. Alexander is the Founder and CEO of Green Life, Inc,  a company that is a registered member of the U.S. Green Building Council and committed to educating the public on how to build healthier lives for ourselves and the planet through everyday practical  "green" living. As a presenter, she will be focusing on helping tourism businesses with simple sustainable practices to "green" their properties, help improve the environment and save money.

According to Alexander, "There are many measures available these days to go green by picking a shade of green that works best for you and your business.  Today being green means a true, honest and sincere effort to be environmentally and socially responsible and avoid "greenwashed" marketing."

Lisa Alexander is a Certified EcoBroker®, Environmental Consultant, Sustainable Living Expert and Green Building Consultant.  Dubbed by some of her contemporaries and journalists as "The Queen of Green", Ms. Alexander is an expert in green home renovation and design, organic cooking, and everyday green living.  Ms. Alexander writes regularly for various local and national publications about Sustainable Living and Green Building.  Ms. Alexander is often seen on major networks and cable news, such as her regular appearances on MSNBC's "Green Is Universal" week as an expert covering the yearly U.S. Green Building Council's conference.

In order to learn more from Ms. Alexander, register for the annual Pocono Mountains Tourism Day conference at 800poconos.com/tourismday.  Fees for Pocono Mountains Tourism Day are $75 for the first person and $70 for each additional person from the same PMVB member property.  PMVB non-member fees are $95 for the first person and $90 for each additional person from the same property.  Attendees coming solely for the luncheon have a rate of $25 per person.  The pre-registration deadline is Friday, May 1, 2009.  Registrations postmarked after May 1, or walk-in registrations, will be subject to slightly higher fees.
