POCONO MOUNTAINS OFFERING
"75TH ANNIVERSARY SUPER FAN SWEEPSTAKES" WITH POCONO RACEWAY
POCONO MOUNTAINS, PA, June 2, 2009 – As part of the 75th Anniversary of the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB), Pocono Raceway is partnering with the PMVB to award six racing "Super Fans" the thrill of VIP seats to the Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 NASCAR Race on August 2, 2009. One of the six Grand Prize winners will also win a Pocono Mountains Vacation including a stay at The Chateau Resort and Conference Center, a $100 Shiro Restaurant dinner certificate, and the opportunity to ski, snow tube, or enjoy the waterpark at Camelback Mountain Resort. Fans can enter the sweepstakes by visiting www.winpocono.com and filling out all necessary contest information.
On or around July 6, six Grand Prize winners will be chosen to receive two VIP tickets to the Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 Race at Pocono Raceway and a ride with a NASCAR driver in an Army Hummer during the driver introductions prior to the race. Each Grand Prize winner will be paired with one of five past winners of Pocono Raceway races including Kasey Kahne, Denny Hamlin, Carl Edwards, Jeff Gordon, and Kurt Busch or the Fan Choice driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. If their paired driver is the leader at the end of Lap #75, that Super Fan will win the Pocono Mountains Weekend Vacation package. If none of the paired drivers are leading the race at the end of Lap #75, the paired driver leading or closest to the lead at the end of Lap #175 will win the Pocono Mountains Weekend Vacation package.
