Profile: My name is Keith, and I manage the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitors Center for the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau. My fondest memories as a child are those of spending time on the big lake, Lake Wallenpaupack. I loved to swim, go boating, fish, play "capture the flag" on Epply Island, and explore the creek by my house looking for crayfish. There is so much more to explore as an adult! I still love lake activities like waterskiing and windsurfing, but I have found so much more. I have discovered snowshoeing around Prompton Lake, biking in Promised Land State Park and on the Rails to Trails paths, cross-country skiing in Lacawac Santuary, Geocaching along the old Gravity railroad, and hiking up to the Milford star. I even proposed to my future wife in a hot air balloon over northern Wayne County! The whole lake region has become paradise to me, and I look forward to sharing my discoveries with you.
