Hundreds of events and activities take place in the Pocono Mountains each year. Music or ethnic festivals, holiday celebrations, sidewalk sales, whitewater rafting days and NASCAR are some of the exciting events that make the Poconos so popular.

MCEEC will be offering weekly walks through the Tannersville Cranberry Bog every Wednesday through September 5. These 2.5 hour walks will be guided by an environmental educator from the Center who will lead you through The Tannersville Bog, a very unique northern boreal bog for this area, owned by The Nature Conservancy. Summer is an excellent time to explore the bog's unique plant life which includes insect-eating plants. The cost is $5/non-members, $3/EE Center or Nature Conservancy members and children under 12. Participants will meet at the Center by 10am. Please wear appropriate footwear. Pre-registration is required.
