Hundreds of events and activities take place in the Pocono Mountains each year. Music or ethnic festivals, holiday celebrations, sidewalk sales, whitewater rafting days and NASCAR are some of the exciting events that make the Poconos so popular.

The summer camps at the EE Center offer a unique opportunity for kids to learn more about their natural world. During the World Around Us Day Camp there will be lessons and activities ranging from animal adaptations to identification and classification of plants. The cost is $100/non-member, $80/EE member and includes one meal. The camp will be held from 9am-3:30pm and is for children ages 10-12; includes one day beginning at 3:30pm with evening activities and a campfire. The registration deadline is June 29, 2012.
