Dirty Girl is a 5k mud run for women of all ages and athletic abilities. Don't worry - it's not a "race" in the traditional sense. It is an untimed obstacle course designed to push you slightly out of your comfort zone, but only as far as you are comfortable going. Forming teams is encouraged, and so is helping your fellow Dirty Girls get through to the finish.

Fourth Race in the Xterra Pocono Series. The course covers over six miles of trails and old roads going through forest, swamps, and streams with a spectacular finish at Gouldsboro Lake. Anyone can enter this race. Participation in the Pocono Xterra Series is not required. Reservations are required.

Spartan Sprints are muddy three plus miles with 15 plus obstacles course races. The challenging sprint races are a great way to get off your couch and start living. Beginners to hardcore warriors, and marathon runners alike come out to test themselves on the insane obstacles! This 5k race is comprised of mud runs, obstacles, trail racing, physical challenges, and mental challenges all in a three plus race.

Hero Rush is a challenging, tough, heroic, and fun 5K race with 17 plus totally unique firefighter and hero themed obstacles. Enjoy entertainment, food, and drink, Kid's Races, and more. Get pumped for an awesome obstacle and adventure race perfect for friends and families. Must be at least 14 to participate.

The Shawnee Mountain Mud Run is a 5k mountain trail run with natural and man-made obstacles, challenging ups and downs, rocky, wooded and wet terrain, shallow water crossings and lots of mountain mud. This is a timed event, (limited age categories) with emphasis on FUN, TEAMWORK and helping each other finish safely. All team members must cross finish together. Costumes encouraged! The run also features a Mini Kidz Run for ages 6-12 years of age, post race BBQ, live music, raffles, and awards will be held in the base area. The Shawnee Mountain Mud Run benefits the Pocono Chapter of Girls on the Run. The run will be held rain or shine. 

Welcome to the world's largest running series. Warrior Dash lands in Pennsylvania where 12 obstacles from hell await you along this 3.32 mile course. Beer, bands, food, and fun will begin approximately 30 minutes after the first wave.

Savage Race is coming to Pennsylvania in 2013 with more than 23 twisted obstacles scattered about a 5-6 mile rugged race course. Savage Race features more real obstacles per mile than other events, so you spend less time jogging and more time conquering badass obstacles. It is not your typical mud run. It features the biggest and best obstacles, the most obstacle challenges per mile, and is rated by mud race participants as the best obstacle race available.

Teams and individual competitors will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of the Pocono Mountains like never before. The Pocono Challenge is a hybrid multi-discipline adventure race that will challenge experienced competitors while giving anyone the chance to enjoy mountain biking, canoeing and jogging or trekking with friends or family. The race consists of a 14.5 mile mountain bike ride along the beautiful McDade Trail, followed by a ten mile paddle down the Delaware River (canoes and kayaks will be provided). The race ends with a three-mile trek or jog ending at Smithfield Beach. Every competitor will receive a custom t-shirt and every finisher will receive a beautiful finisher's medal.

The course will begin in the vicinity of the Honesdale High School and continue through to Wallenpauck Area High School. The course features the Lake Region of the Pocono Mountains natural assets such as rolling farmlands, fresh water trout streams, and Lake Wallenpaupack.

Gear up to make history during the Delaware and Lehigh Heritage Marathon/Half Marathon. Enjoy the spectacular fall foliage and stunning views as you follow the historic transportation system where America was built.

Join Ready Set Run for the River Ramble. The ramble will feature a 5k and 10k road race along River Road, a 2-mile fun trail walk along the McDade Trail, and a nature walk for the children with a park ranger. The River Ramble will start at the Smithfield Beach Recreation Area. Prizes and festivities will be held after the race.
