Situated within the town limits of historic Jim Thorpe (formerly called Mauch Chunk), this 28-acre wooded campground offers every modern convenience the camping family could desire. All campsites are level, spacious and wooded. The main tent area is separate from the recreational vehicle area and both are well back from the road so you can count on a quiet's night rest. Camp amid the laurel bloom in May and June and enjoy the rhododendron blooms in July. Enjoy a swim in our pool while the kids play in the wading pool. We also have a mountain stream that borders our campground. There are many miles of mountain bike trails which run through the campground. Pets Accepted!

| From NE Extension Pennsylvania Turnpike: Mahoning Valley Exit #74. Bear left and follow signs for 209S and Lehighton. Cross Lehigh River and bear right, follow 209S into Jim Thorpe. Turn left at the light at the foot of the long hill entering Jim Thorpe Jim Thorpe (Adventure Central). Up hill through town 2.2 miles to Jim Thorpe Camping Resort. From I-80 Area: South on Route 93 through Hazleton to 209N or South on Route 115 from Blakeslee area to 903S to 209N. Follow 209N into Jim Thorpe. Go straight through the light past Adventure Central and go up the hill through the town 2.2 miles to Jim Thorpe Camping Resort. From Route 309: Follow Route 209N, as above or Route 443 to Route 902. From All Directions: Follow signs to Mauch Chunk Lake and State Camping signs. | |
