The Pocono Lake Region Chamber of Commerce (formerly the Hawley-Lake Wallenpaupack Chamber of Commerce) will host the annual Arts and Crafts Fair in picturesque Bingham Park. Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway Trips

For the 16-mile roundtrip, you will ride the former mainline of the Jersey Central Lines leaving Jim Thorpe. The line swings into the former Lehigh Valley main line before passing Glen Onoko. Form here the Jersey Central tack is long abandoned, and is now the state park trail. Glen Onoko is the south gateway to the park. They follow the winding Lehigh River, rounding curve after curve until you reach Old Penn Haven. Coach tickets are $12/adults, $9/children 3-12. Open Air Car and Caboose tickets are $17/adults, $10/children 3-12. Children under 3 receive a free ticket. Departure times are 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. An additional train ride will be held on September 2.

Down Hill Mountain Biking and Disc Golf

This is Blue Mountain's second season of lift access disc golf and downhill mountain biking. Blue Mountain has teamed up with Vertical Earth to provide you the region's most thrilling gravity experience for all levels of riding. This year there will be 15 downhill mountain bike trails for your enjoyment. Blue Mountain will open the mountain biking season with a LeMann's Super DS race with over $5,000 in cash and prizes. Don't forget about the two disc golf courses for all abilities, the Skyline Park Course and the Valley Golf Course. Each hole delivers unique challenges, breath taking views, and enormous fun. Don't worry about walking back up, the lift will be running. Hours of operation are 9am-5pm.

Monroe Farmers’ Market
