Whitewater Rafting

Whitewater rafting in the Poconos has long been an exciting and popular adventure sport that brings friends and families together to share a unique experience that they will long remember. And thanks to regular dam releases that keep the rivers flowing, whitewater is enjoyed all season long. A number of Pocono outfitters service both the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers. Visitors can take to the challenging rapids while enjoying a glimpse of the surrounding wilderness and its wildlife inhabitants. Be prepared for an escape from the ordinary - from cascading waterfalls to swimming holes and a memorable day of shared excitement. It is cool wet fun for those hot summer days. If you want a slower adventure, try a calm tube or raft ride on the river.
