The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau and Fernwood Hotel & Resort are proud to host Fire and Ice Hospitality Nights! In celebration to all of the employees who work hard to support our tourism community, we want to show our appreciation through these exciting events. On Thursdays beginning February 25, head to the Fun Center for live entertainment, drink specials, snow tubing discounts and door prizes. The event culminates on March 11 with the granddaddy of them all, The First Annual Pocono Mountains Tourism Games.

Starting at 6:00 p.m., these Games will feature team competition in eating and trivia contests, winter relays, snowtubing races, drink competitions and hospitality trivia games. Each team is required to have 10 participants that are employed by the Pocono Mountains hospitality industry. For example, the PMVB is entering a staff team. The top three teams will receive prizes with the first place team being awarded $1000 in cash and the Pocono Mountains Cup, which will be passed to the next winning team in 2011. Prizes include vacations for one-week accommodations at resorts throughout the world, overnight stays, restaurant certificates and apparel, as well as golf, snowtubing, skiing and attraction passes.

Any business who serves tourism including grocery stores, gas and service stations, restaurants, etc. will be eligible. Proof of identification, including business cards and pay stubs will be requested at the Center.

To register a team, mail this completed form and a check payable to Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau to ATTN: Alicia Quinn, 1004 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Registration is $100 per team and includes 10 snowtubing tickets and a box dinner for each competitor. Registration is due by Sunday, February 28 with a limit of 20 teams so be sure to sign up today.
