New this year, Monroe Farmers Market has partnered with the Sherman Theater in Downtown Stroudsburg to stay open all winter long. The Monroe Winter Farmers Market will offer great preserved goods, jams and jellies, baked goods, maple syrup, farm fresh eggs, and produce (while available). The Winter Farmers Market will be open until March 28.

A down and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon Audrey II grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination! This show will take place at 2pm on March 1, 6, 8 and 8pm March 7.
To celebrate winter and the tradition of ice harvesting in the Pocono Mountains, including the 22nd Annual Tobyhanna Ice Harvest on Mill Pond #1, Steamtown NHS is featuring an exhibit entitled, A Cool Look at the Ice Industry. Through historic artifacts and images from local historical societies and Steamtown's collection, the exhibit traces the path of ice from ponds and lakes to homes and businesses, and presents ice as a resource that shaped a new America. The exhibit, located in the park's Changing Exhibits Gallery, and is open through April 26.
There are over 250 pieces of art available. Bulk of art is in the $20 to $150 range. There is art between $100 to $12,00 available. All proceeds benefit the Sterling Strauser Art Gallery.
The Schwag is a band of musicians dedicated to carrying on the vibe and music of the legendary Grateful Dead. Founded in 1991 the band has performed over 3000 concerts all over the United States in their career so far. This group averages 150 shows a year and has a working song list of over 200 songs from the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band catalog. Wherever they play these guys get the crowd a stompin'. Check them out at the Sherman Theater.

Forty-five years after its debut album, Savoy Brown, led by the great guitarist Kim Simmonds, is still flying the banner of British blues rock, still recording and drawing enthusiastic crowds. Among the best loved, most respected, and longest running of its genre, Savoy Brown is one of the magical names in blues rock. This show celebrates the release of this great new CD, which, like the remarkable Voodoo Moon, whose release was celebrated back in 2012, the music on this new CD says we're in for a great night.

When Allman Brothers Band members, guitarist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody started a side project in 1994, Gov't Mule was born. Come join the Sherman Theater for an evening with Gov't Mule, featuring some sit-in songs with guitar legend John Scofield. This tour will be following the long awaited release of Sco-Mule, a live recording from a 1999 performance in Atlanta featuring the original Gov't Mule lineup accompanied by Scofield.
Kashmir is the most authentic representation of Led Zeppelin on the modern national touring scene. Each of the four band members assumes their individual role with pinpoint accuracy. Kashmir possesses the live stage show, sound, and likeness to bring audiences and fans back to the days when the mighty Led Zeppelin ruled the musical landscape. MiZ is a soulful, Rock-Americana artist from Northeast Pennsylvania who is known as an acoustic and electric guitar virtuoso. His sound is directly impacted by the coal mining region of PA and the songs evoke the rustic tones and imagery you would expect from the region and its cultural heritage. The singer/songwriter/guitarist Mike Mizwinski gives name to the band and his solo work and it is his heart and soul, poured into the words and his guitar that drives it all forward. MiZ has opened for America, The Wallflowers, Derek Trucks Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Blues Traveler, Shawn Colvin, Lyle Lovett, Leon Russell, Railroad Earth, and many more. Come out for a night of MiZ and Dylan at the Hawley Silk Mill!
The 38th Public Maple Sugaring Day will be held at the Meesing Outdoor Site in Marshalls Creek. The day will feature a tour of the sugar bush including stops to learn about Native American and early pioneer methods of making maple syrup, evaporator process, and methods of identifying and tapping a maple tree. After the tour, everyone will get a chance to taste some of the syrup on freshly made pancakes.

Composition and optimal camera settings will be discussed to create beautiful winter wonderland images.
