Cure your cabin fever on a safari adventure. Come check out the amazing ice displays, such as elephants and giraffes, all sculpted from over 100 tons of ice. There will also be ongoing live ice caring shows and professional ice competitions on February 11-12 and 25-26. Guests can enjoy free hot chocolate and wine tasting with admission. Tickets are $10/adults, $6/children ages 3-15, and children under 3 are free. The festival will be held from 11am-6pm, Monday-Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday.
Due to the lack of ice on Lake Wallenpaupack, the 21st Annual Ice Tee Golf Tournament has been cancelled.
Bargain Day Package includes an all day lift ticket, lesson, and rental. The cost is $35 per person. The lift tickets are valid from noon-6pm. Bargain Day Wednesday will continue through March, 2012.
Come out to the Promised Land State Park Office to borrow the Park's snowshoes! Throughout the winter, a limited number of MSR-Denali snowshoes are available for use through a Snowshoe Loaner Program at the Park. Staff is available to give brief instructions and additional information. Make sure to wear hiking boots, dress in layers, and bring plenty of water. This program is designed for day-use only. After December 12, the Park Office is only open Monday through Friday. Snowshoes cannot be loaned out during the weekends. A valid driver's license must be provided in order to borrow snowshoes. Snowshoes must remain in the park and are only available when there is at least six inches of snow cover. Please contact the Park Office to check snow conditions and equipment availability. Snowshoes must be used at the Park and/or in the Delaware State Forest between the hours of 8am and 3pm.

Friday Night Family Nights take place every non-holiday Friday at Alpine. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the mountain; lessons are scheduled for 6pm. Friday Night Family Nights will continue through March, 2012.
Natural themed paintings will be featured in this eclectic collection from the best of the best of this group of talented watercolor artists. Your eyeswill sparkle at the variety of styles and composition. From fine to rustic, you'll enjoy the different techniques. The exhibit will be on display from February 4 through the 29. An opening reception will be held on February 4 from 11am-1pm. The public is invited to the reception to view the paintings, meet the watercolorists and enjoy some refreshments; all free of charge.

A zany music and dance spectacular that took Broadway by storm. Thoroughly Modern Millie is a high spirited romp that follows Millie Dillmount as she experiences New York for the first time in a series of mad-cap adventures. Audiences will find their toes tapping as flappers take the stage, tap-dancing the night away in this winner of Five Tony Awards. Tickets are $18/adults, $15/seniors, $10/children. The show will begin at 8pm on Saturday February 18 and 25; 2pm on Sunday, February 19 and 26, Thursday, February 23, and Friday, February 24.
The Pike County Historical Society is proud to announce the official lineup for its popular music series called Winter Wednesdays. In its sixth year, the concert series has gained much momentum over the last few years and has become a winter staple as a cure for "cabin fever". The series will open with the fabulous blues pianist and vocalist, Ronny Whyte. Ronny is a veteran of the Winter Wednesdays, having performed for the benefit of the museum each year since the series began. Piano man Ronny will be accompanied by Dave Stryker on guitar and Boots Maleson on Bass. Tickets to each individual performance are $30 and include complimentary wine and cheese served at your table. Season passes are available for $100 each and allow entry to all four performances. Reservations are required and can be obtained by calling the PCHS.
Bring your bus group to the Best Western Inn at Hunts Landing for the "Chocolate Fest" themed day festival. The festival includes a breakfast and dinner buffet, three-hour open bar, activities (including bingo and movie), DJ, and live musical entertainment. The cost is $38 per person, plus tax. The "Chocolate Fest" themed day festival will be held from 10am-4pm. Reservations required. Group leader discounts apply with a minimum of 35 people in the group.
Each year the Monroe County Environmental Education Center conducts tours of its maple sugaring site in Marshalls Creek in February and March. This is a great opportunity to learn about maple sugaring which has been going on in our area for hundreds of years. Two hour tours include stops at various stations providing information on the history of maple sugaring, which dates back to the Native Americans, the evaporating process that we use today, and provides the visitor with the opportunity to tap a maple tree whose sap will be used in the 2012 maple syrup production. Also shown are methods of collecting maple sap, and finally, the cooking process that produces the sweet maple syrup. The cost is $3/per participant and scheduling is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. Dates this year for organized groups (including students, scouts and any organizations) have been set for Thursday, February 23 through Friday, March 16, 2012.

The band, which is led by Matt Ryan from the World Famous "Legends in Concert," is a note perfect and visually accurate recreation of Bruce Springsteen and the E. Street Band. Matt can portray "The Boss" like no one else. As for the E. Street Band members, they were all handpicked from some of the West Coast's most acclaimed musicians. General seating tickets are $17/advance and $22/day of the show. Doors open at 6pm and the show will begin at 8pm.
