HAWLEY HARVEST HOEDOWNHistoric Hawley will once again host one of the most popular events in the lake region with the Hawley Harvest Hoedown. Bright autumn colors and crisp weather have been ordered up as the day's events.
JIM THORPE FALL FOLIAGE DAYSThere truly is something for the entire family during these fall foliage weekends. Train rides, vendors, crafters, goodies from the Jim Thorpe Farmers Market, bike rentals and rides in the surrounding hills or along the Lehigh River on the rail-trail, free entertainment at different venues throughout the downtown, and seasonal specials from restaurants and shops. This event will also take places on October 12-13, and 19-20.
THE GREAT POCONO PUMPKIN FESTIVAL AND FRIGHT NITES (TENTATIVE DATES)The largest pumpkin festival in the Pocono Mountains is even bigger. Families can enjoy UNLIMITED hayrides, treasure hunting, bounce houses, and games with costumed characters, and more. Pumpkins starting at $3. Fright Nite is back, starting October 4th with the Waldorf Hotel. These are tentative dates. Please check back for detailed information for 2013.
FALL CLASSIC CAR SHOWThe Pocono Lake Region Chamber of Commerce will host there annual Fall Classic Car Show in picturesque Bingham Park. All makes and models are welcome, with participant ballot judging of cars. The event is open to the public from noon-4pm.
AUTUMN TIMBER FESTIVALEnjoy live music, Timber Team Lumberjack shows, Marvelous Mutts Canine Shows, pig aces, chain saw sculptures, and scenic chairlift rides all during the prime fall foliage time.
HARVEST & HERITAGE DAYSHistoric Honesdale rolls out pumpkins, hay bales and fall colors for its annual Harvest Heritage Fest. Honesdale's historic Main Street will be alive with the sound of street music, craft vendors, and old-fashioned horse-drawn hayrides.

QUIET VALLEY'S 39TH ANNUAL HARVEST FESTIVALThere will be demonstrations of many early American skills and crafts, such as broom making, oak split basketry, spinning, weaving, yarn dyeing, tatting, coopering, quilling, outdoor brick bake oven, Dutch oven cooking, butter making, and rope making. Plenty of good country food, folk entertainment (on the stage and around the farm), and a variety of activities for children including the Pumpkin Patch, old time games, one-room schoolhouse, pony rides, wagon rides, and storytelling abound. Don't forget to buy a few raffle tickets for our beautiful festival quilt. Free parking, shuttle available. The event will be held rain or shine - under tents if it rains. No pets allowed and no smoking.
