The Lehigh River Sojourn is an educational whitewater rafting, canoeing or kayaking trip down the Lehigh River. Join local geocacher Kevin "CaptainMath" DeVizia for a session introducing the sport of geocaching, the fast-growing hobby in which you use a handheld GPS device or a smartphone to find hidden containers called "geocaches." He’ll tell you about geocaching, explain the types of caches that are out there, show some of the exciting adventures involved, highlight benefits for people and families of all levels of physical ability, and show how to use the official geocaching website. After the introduction, Kevin will take the group outside to start finding caches! We’ll search for four new, permanent caches along the Wallenpaupack Lake Trail.
